A University of Colorado-Boulder student was rescued from the side of a mountain earlier after taking hallucinogenic mushrooms. Taylor Powers, 21, and friends were hiking in the area's Chautauqua Park after taking the drugs when the woman began acting erratic, reports the New York Daily News.
Powers reportedly began stripping off her clothes as the drugs kicked in and quickly turned violent towards her hiking companions. Rescuers were called to the scene and Powers was physically restrained to keep from attacking the authorities.
According to the Daily News, she was removed from the hiking trail and transported to a local hospital where she received treatment and was booked on criminal charges. Her friends, Brian Mulligan and William Collins, also 21, faces charges as well.
