Brad Pitt has opened up about his marriage to Jennifer Aniston and says he was abusing drugs during that period of his life. During a recent interview with Esquire, Pitt admits that his life felt incomplete during the 1990's and his marriage to Aniston was a big part of it.
"For a long time I thought I did too much damage - drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing. I spent years f***ing off," he says in the interview.
Pitt and Aniston were married for seven years before splitting in 2005. In a previous interview with Parade Magazine he admits that they weren't happy years:
"I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't," he explained.
