Shares of Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (PSUN) jumped more than 14% in after hours trading after the teen retailer reported first quarter revenue above analysts' expectations and gave an upbeat revenue forecast for the second quarter.

Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) surged more than 13% in extended hours trading after the computer and printer maker reported forecast-beating second quarter profit and gave an upbeat earnings forecast for the current quarter. The company also raised the low end of is fiscal 2013 adjusted earnings outlook range.

Shares of PetSmart Inc (PETM) rose more than 2% in late trading after the pet supplies retailer reported first quarter profit above Wall Street expectations and raised its full year earnings outlook

Workday Inc. (WDAY) shares gained more than 2% in after hours trading after the enterprise software company reported forecast-beating first quarter results and raised its full year revenue outlook.

Shares of Synopsys Inc. (SNPS) advanced more than 2% in extended hours trading after the chip-design software provider's second quarter earnings and revenue both beat Wall Street estimates, and the company raised its fiscal 2013 earnings outlook.
