Wockhardt Ltd. said it had received an 'import alert' from US FDA on one of its manufacturing unit located in Waluj near Aurangabad. The impact of the import alert on the revenues was estimated to be in the range of $100 million on an annualized basis.
The company said it was taking all steps to address the concerns raised by US FDA and should put all efforts to resolve the issue at the earliest.
At the BSE, Wockhardt shares are currently trading at Rs.1,173, down 10.82 percent from the previous close.
