Rumors are swirling that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is plotting her departure from "The View." The word spread earlier this month after comments from host Joy Behar, who claimed that this is, in fact, Hasselbeck's final season with the show.
Thus far neither Hasselbeck nor reps from the show have confirmed the split. Hasselbeck did, however, speak on the rumors in an interview with the Huffington Post saying:
"When Barbara gives it the amen, it can be real," she said. "But until then, I don't even address rumors." She added, "You can decide to talk about rumors all day or you can decide to talk about things that are real," and said, "There is no rumor space for me."
Some sources have reported that Hasselbeck may be forced out by producers, who fear her far-right political views alienate some potential viewers.
