John Fogerty Says CCR Reunion Is 'A Possibility'

A Creedence Clearwater Revival reunion might not be as farfetched as once thought, at least not according to John Fogerty.

Fogerty, who was appearing on CBS This Morning in order to promote his new album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, which hits record stores on May 28, said that a reunion could happen:

"From time to time, I'll say something and it'll get in print that maybe that will happen, and then immediately I'll hear back stuff that doesn't sound like it's possible. I think it's a possibility in the future, you know. It's not something I'm actively seeking, but I'm not totally against the idea either."

The band disbanded back in 1972. Since 1995, original members Stu Cook and Doug Clifford have toured on occasion as Creedence Clearwater Revisited.
