Aaron Lewis, the Staind fronter who's been lately moonlighting as a country artist, will make his debut at the Grand Ole Opry on May 28.

Although he won't have to take the stage alone, as he'll be joined by some old Nashville hands in Bill Anderson, Ricky Skaggs, Josh Turner, Dustin Lynch and Craig Campbell.

"Getting to play the Grand Ole Opry is such an incredible honor," said Lewis in a statement. "It's a dream come true to think that I'll get to stand in that same iconic circle where music royalty has stood."

Look for Lewis' latest single, "Grandaddy's Gun," from his solo album The Road, to hit country radio next week.

"'Granddaddy's Gun' is the only song on the album that I didn't write," Lewis added. "In fact, it's the only song I've ever recorded that I didn't write. But the minute [songwriter] Rhett [Atkins] played it for me, it took me right back to my childhood. It's my story. It's a song I could have written."
