Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. N.V. (CBI), a provider of environmental services, Tuesday said it has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract valued at $160 million from the Environmental Protection Agency or EPA. The company is expected to provide environmental remediation services in response to task orders within Region 9 of the EPA, which includes Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawaii, tribal nations and U.S. territories in the Pacific Ocean. Commenting on the development, Chip Ray, president of CB&I's Government Solutions operating group said, "CB&I has long supported U.S. government programs and initiatives to clean and restore our nation's most contaminated sites...This award underscores our environmental expertise and ability to efficiently execute complex remediation projects."
