Brad Paisley penned a song for the new Sheryl Crow album, Feels Like Home, which marks the singer-songwriter's first foray in the country music world. Paisley, who was instrumental in helping Crow crossover into country, wrote the song "Waterproof Mascara," which Crow says Paisley supplied in exchange for her doing the country album.

In order to do the country album, Crow "made Brad Paisley write a chick song about being a single mom," she told the Washington Post.

Crow has worked with other country artists in the past including Keith Urban, Vince Gill, and Brooks & Dunn.

The first single off of Feels Like Home is "Easy" which is currently in the Top 20 on country music charts. Feels Like Home is due out on September 10.
