Wearing a white crop top and white shorts with sparkly high heels, the pop diva joined Miguel onstage during his set with J. Cole to sing her single "#Beautiful" for the East Rutherford crowd.
Carey added a slew of high notes to the duet, ensuring that the crowd would notice that she was not lip-syncing--a charge several have accused her of during recent appearances.
Miggy prepared the crowd for a big surprise, telling them before Mimi came out onto the stage: "I don't think you know who this is 'cause if you did, you'd be making the loudest noise you could."
Other acts that performed at this year's Hot 97 Summer Jam included Nicki Minaj with 2 Chainz, Lil Kim with Fabolous, and Ol' Dirty Bastard's son with Wu Tang Clan.
