Earnings Watch For June 4 (DG, BOBE, SHFL)

Dollar General (DG) is expected to report its first quarter results before the markets open. The discount retailer is expected to earn $0.71 per share, higher than $0.63 per share reported last year. Besides, quarterly revenues are anticipated at $4.24 billion, up from last year's $3.90 billion. The shares closed Monday at $53.55. (52-wk H/L $56.04/$39.73)

Family restaurant chain Bob Evans Farms Inc. (BOBE) is slated to report fourth-quarter results. The company is expected to report earnings of $0.64 per share, down from last year's $0.80 per share, while revenues are anticipated to decline to $331.41 million from $420.51 million reported a year ago. Shares of BOBE closed Monday's trade at $45.94. (52-wk H/L $47.22/$34.45)

Las Vegas, Nevada-based Shuffle Master Inc. (SHFL) is due to post its second-quarter results after the close of trading. The gaming devices maker is expected to earn $0.60 per share, flat with last year. Quarterly revenues are projected to increase to $71.57 million from a year earlier $66.05 million. The shares closed Monday at $17.47. (52-wk H/L $17.74/$11.75)

Analogic Corp (ALOG) and NCI Building Systems (NCS) are also scheduled to report their results.
