According to Los Angeles alternative rock station KROQ, Nine Inch Nails will be releasing a new single, "Came Back Haunted," to radio on Thursday, June 6.
"I think it's in line with the first two albums," KROQ's Director Lisa Worden said.
"It's got a great beat, it's not the experimental material Trent's done in the last five years . . . I wouldn't say that it's dance-y, but it does have a great beat, a groove. Trent [Reznor] really brought it with this song. It's going to sound amazing to new fans and old. It's just cool."
NIN are currently working on the follow-up to 2008's album, The Slip. In a statement, Reznor has previously called the album "f*cking great."
The band begins its 2013 tour with set at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival on July 26.
