Maxwell partied it up for his 40th birthday in New York City. The crooner toasted his b-day with D'Usse cognac and a large cake, while hanging out with his friends, who included Tyson Beckford, Carmelo Anthony and Swizz Beatz. The party was held at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club.
After the event, he tweeted his appreciation for the party: "Thank you all of you this is so nice."
Max's upcoming album, Summers (the second in his current album trilogy), is slated for release in the coming months. He will be playing three shows (in Southaven, Mississippi on July 3, in New Orleans on July 5, and in Atlanta on July 6) in support of it.
