Mariah Carey has confirmed some new details about her forthcoming album. The diva hit Twitter earlier this week to announce that the LP will hit stores on July 23. Thus far there is no title for the effort, which follows 2009's Memoir of an Imperfect Angel.
The new release finds Mimi collaborating with a host of R&B's heaviest hitters including Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, Mike WiLL Made It, and Rodney Jerkins. She has already released the first single, "#Beautiful," featuring Miguel.
Mariah is seemingly starting a new chapter in her career with the release, as she tweeted: "The New Era Begins.. 7/23 #MC723." When asked by a fan on Twitter about the title she responded "trying to decide between two or three right now."
Meanwhile, "#Beautiful" has already hit number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
