Kanye West hit the stage for a headlining set at New York City's Governor's Ball on Saturday. The event had seen various cancellations the previous night due to poor weather.
Yeezy rocked a collection of new tunes from his forthcoming album Yeezus during the set including "I Am A God," "On Site" and an untitled piece. He followed up the new material with a selection of tracks from his back catalog including "Clique," "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Power."
Despite the best intentions to continue with the entire festival rain or shine, many of the acts scheduled for Friday were postponed by the fest's promoters. Those groups who did continue on Friday included Of Monsters and Men, Young the Giant and Feist.
Festival reps eventually canceled all remaining acts at about 9:30 pm on Friday citing "high winds and unsafe weather conditions."
