Google has launched its own official Android Cloud Print app, which allows Android users to print photos or documents directly to any Cloud Print-connected printers.
Using Google Cloud Print, users can make their home and work-place printers available to themselves. Android users till now depended on third-party applications to use this service.
Android users can use the new app to print from any compatible Android device to any Google Cloud Print- connected printer. They can also share a picture or a document from apps like Gallery directly to Cloud Print and also track the status of print jobs.
Google's official Cloud Print app can be downloaded for free from Google Play store. However, Google has not released the app for iOS or Windows Phone platforms, where users have to count on third party applications or web version.
