Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish have announced that they are getting a divorce.
The couple, who have been married for 19 years, issued a statement to Extra: "This is a personal matter and we are working to find a resolution that is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
In the paperwork filed, Tish is asking for primary legal and physical custody of their youngest child, Noah, as well as spousal support. The couple nearly divorced three years ago, when Cyrus filed papers against Tish. However, he later withdrew the paperwork and reconciled with her.
The couple have five children, including Miley Cyrus, whose tweet to her father last week hinted at trouble in the family:
"@billyraycyrus, since your texts and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?"
