Eric Clapton had to cancel two dates on his European tour due to back pain. The canceled shows were a June 11 date in Vienna and a June 12 date in Stuttgart.
"He was looking forward to these concerts and regrets that he is not to be able to perform for the fans. He would like to apologize for any inconveniences these cancellations may cause and would like to thank the fans for their understanding," read a message from Clapton's team.
All other shows on the run will go on as scheduled, added the statement, while the two missed shows will be rescheduled at a later date. Refunds are also available.
Clapton's European run wraps June 19 in Prague. The tour is in support of his latest release, Old Sock.
