Mumford and Sons bassist Ted Dwane has been released from the hospital following brain surgery to remove a blood clot. The band released news on their Facebook page, assuring fans that Dwane is expected to make a full recovery:
"It is with great joy that we can announce that Ted has been discharged from hospital and is on the road to a full recovery. The surgery went well, and the excellent medical team helping him are very pleased with his progress. He has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal."
The group postponed a handful of U.S. tour dates while Dwane recovers from the surgery, including stops in Dallas and Woodlands, Texas, as well as New Orleans. They have, however, confirmed that at this point there are "no plans to cancel or postpone any other appearances along this current tour."
