Loud noises coming from a Canadian woman's bathroom, led her to find a squirrel stuck in her toilet.
After Angela Campbell noticed her dogs have been acting strange, she began hearing noises from inside her bathroom. Much to her surprise, when she went to see what it was, she found a smelly squirrel attempting to escape her toilet, reports the Winnipeg Free Press.
She removed the animal with barbeque tongs and cleaned it up in the bathtub. Campbell said, "It basically was caked with whatever was inside the pipes, from wherever it was coming from."
She released it outside and reported the incident to the city and a local plumber. Where did it come from? The plumber told the woman it might have come climbed up the sewer lines.
This made sense to Campbell when she remembered she had received a notice that a water main cleaning was underway on her street. Campbell said she decided to name her furry toilet friend after the movie, 'The Shawshank Redemption' where an inmate escapes through the sewer.
"I was thinking Squirrelshank Redemption," she said.
