MGMT have confirmed a new string of U.K. tour dates behind their forthcoming release. The album will follow their 2010 LP Congratulations and the run will kick off in Glasgow, Scotland at ABC1 on October 12.
The U.K. dates continue through October 16, when the duo wraps things up at the London Forum. Their new release was once again recorded with producer Dave Fridman at his studio near Buffalo, New York.
Speaking with Rolling Stone of the release, Ben Goldwasser explained: "We're not trying to make music that everyone understands the first time they hear it."
They debuted one of their new tracks, "Mystery Disease" during a show at Penn State University last month.
