Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have released "Stay at Home Dad," a web-only cut dedicated to all the dads who are spending Father's Day at home with the kids, while their wives are out working.
"I'll make you coffee, and a bagel / And another bagel, keep on reading that paper / Then it's off you go / Hon, you're going to be late / Don't forget your briefcase / Drive Safe (Peace babe) / Wake up the kids, toast the toast/ Put the Raisin Bran up in the bowl," sings Macklemore on the humorous track.
According to Vibe magazine, "Stay at Home Dad" is in the same vein of previously M&RL tracks like "Thin Line" and "Same Love." Under the Gun Review, meanwhile, commented that the song is "a chill track," which would have benefited from "more of a pulse."
Either way, the song is available for free download via SoundCloud.
