Adele and PJ Harvey have become Members of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire this week, bringing home the honor from none other than Queen Elizabeth herself. Both singers, writes the BBC, were honored for their service to music.

It's the most recent award for Adele, who has taken home an Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe and Brit Award for her track, "Skyfall," the theme song to the James Bond film of the same name.

Harvey, meanwhile, is the first artist to win Britain's Mercury Prize two times. Her most recent victory came for her 2011 album, Let England Shake.

Other awards handed out by the Queen during her annual Birthday Honors celebration were the Lieutenant of the Royal Victoria Order (LVO) for services to the Royal Household to composer Mike Batt, and the Order of the British Empire (OBE) to veteran producer and artist manager Vicki Wickham.
