A Florida man is under arrest this week after allegedly punching a police horse over the weekend. Pedro Arzola, or Orlando, was allegedly walking down the middle of the street early Sunday morning when mounted police approached, according to the area's WFTV.
The incident occurred near Central Boulevard and Orange Avenue in Orlando after the mounted police attempted to get Arzola out of the street. WFTV reports that the enraged man then struck the police horse, who is named Captain.
Arzola was immediately taken into custody following the incident. He has reportedly been charged with attempting to injure a police horse. No other details about the incident have been release.
