Pratt & Whitney To Provide Engines On ILFC Order For Up To 100 Embraer E-Jets E2

International Lease Finance Corporation or ILFC, a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), said that Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. (UTX),will provide exclusive power for up to 100 Embraer E-Jets E2 aircraft based on the letter of intent announced by Embraer and International Lease Finance Corporation. The agreement represents up to 200 PurePower PW1900G engines with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2018.

In a separate press release, International Lease Finance announced it has signed an agreement to add four A330-200 widebody aircraft to the Aerolíneas Argentinas fleet this year. The four previously operated aircraft will be completely modernized with new cabin interiors including state-of-the-art Inflight Entertainment options available in every seat. Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled to take place later this year.

Separately, International Lease Finance said it has selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines to power an additional 30 A320neo Family aircraft bringing ILFC's total commitment to 180 engines.
