8x8, Inc. (EGHT), a provider of innovative cloud communications and computing solutions, Wednesday said it has been awarded a new patent related to its contact center technologies. On June 18, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued United States Patent number 8,468,545 entitled "Interaction Management."
The patent relates generally to methods and systems for managing networked contact centers. More specifically, it is for a networked call center that integrates disparate call center resources.
Since its establishment in 1987, 8x8 has been awarded eighty-eight United States patents covering a variety of voice and video communications, signaling, processing and storage technologies.
