Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE) is gaining 7 percent to $46.32. The company's second quarter earnings declined from the prior year period, but its adjusted earnings per share were above analysts' estimate. Revenue for the quarter declined from the year-ago quarter, but was in-line with the consensus estimate.
Decliners:
FedEx Corp. (FDX) is down nearly 1 percent to $98.75. The company's fourth quarter profit declined from the prior year period, while its non-GAAP earnings per share topped Wall Street view. For fiscal 2014, the company projects earnings per share growth of 7 percent to 13 percent from fiscal 2013 adjusted results.
Tetra Tech Inc. (TTEK) is falling 12 percent to $23.50 after its announcement that it expects to report a loss in its third quarter, hurt largely by higher restructuring costs reflecting weakness in Eastern Canada, mining segments and new findings on certain project claims.
BlackBerry (BBRY) is down over 2 percent to $14.48.
Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (VNDA) is down 12 percent to $9.50.
