Police in Florida have arrested a man who admitted to shooting his daughter's boyfriend, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
The incident happened Tuesday night, when the man was told by neighbors that his daughter's boyfriend was trying to get into his house, Orlando Sentinel reports. According to police reports, Raymond Lebron called Francisco "Frankie" Calderon Santiago abusive.
The report also states that the 20-year-old man has been threatening Lebron and physically abusing his daughter. A protective order was issued June 5, but was never served.
Lebron additionally has a trespass-warning report against the man stating he would be arrested if he came to the house. The couple who has been dating for 10-months, has a child together.
Calderon was trying to see his son at the time of the incident.
When Lebron arrived to the house where Calderon was arguing with his girlfriend, he pushed the man off of his porch. According to the report, Lebron then pointed a handgun at Calderon and shot him.
He fell to the ground but survived. Lebron, a felon from a prior cocaine conviction in 2003 was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon.
