Liv Tyler has joined the cast of Damon Lindelof's HBO pilot "The Leftovers." The show will be based on Tom Perrotta's book of the same name.
EW has also confirmed that Tyler will act alongside Justin Theroux.
According to Deadline, the show will be set in a post-apocalyptic time with Tyler, who plays the role of Meg, who leaves her husband and is recruited to join a cult that follows the Rapture. Theroux will play the role of Kevin, a chief of police.
The caste will also include Christopher Eccleston, Tony nominee Carrie Coon, Amanda Warren and Ann Dowd. Peter Berg will be directing the Pilot.
