Men's Wearhouse Inc. (MW) Wednesday announced the termination of George Zimmer from his position as Executive Chairman. The company has postponed its annual shareholders meeting scheduled for June 19 for renominate the existing slate of directors without Zimmer.
The company said its board will discuss the extent and terms of his ongoing relationship with the company.
Further, Men's Wearhouse said it will set a new record date and would provide additional information about the annual meeting in a supplement to its proxy statement to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
