German provider of systems for food and energy industries GEA Group (GEAGF.PK,GEAGY.PK) said Thursday that its management board decided with the approval of the supervisory board to separate from the segment GEA Heat Exchangers in the medium term. Hence, the company said it is reviewing all options for a separation from this segment.
The decision is to be seen in the context of the strategic development of GEA putting a stronger focus on the development of its remaining business units, the company said.
