During a question and answer session at the Toronto International Film Festival, Jimmy Page was accused of refusing to take part in a Led Zeppelin reunion concert earlier this year.
According to the Huffington Post, film executive Harvey Weinstein, speaking at the Q&A after a screening of the 12.12.12 documentary, said that Page's refusal derailed the Zep reunion.
"We get an OK from [Robert] Plant if Page will do it . . . Jimmy Page doesn't want to do it," Weinstein told the audience.
Weinstein added that Page's lawyer is the "devil," and that he even tried to use Bill Clinton and president Barack Obama to try and sway Page.
"Bill talked to the group and Jimmy told him no. Jimmy Page struck out Obama and Bill Clinton . . . that will live on in infamy."
