Black Sabbath have announced the release of a live concert DVD, Gathered in Their Masses. The DVD, which was filmed over the course of two concerts in Melbourne during their recent "13" world tour, will be available November 26.
A teaser for the DVD was released late last week which featured some clips from the Melbourne show. The online trailer ends simply with the words, "DVD Coming Soon."
The title of the DVD is a reference to the lyrics of Sabbath's classic song, "War Pigs," which was the opening cut from the 1970 album Paranoid.
While the heavy metal band is slated to tour through the end of 2013, there is speculation that it could be the band's final trek due to the age and health condition of the band. Bassist Geezer Butler told the Chicago Sun Times that "It's getting tough, it really is. I can't lie about that. I'm old now. It really is tough going on every night. You wake up the next day [with] pains you never had before."
Black Sabbath have dates scheduled in South America, Mexico and Europe through December 22.
