Brantley Gilbert may once again be a single man, but don't expect him to talk about it unless you're listening to one of his songs. The country singer called it quits with his fiance Jana Kramer last month.
Nonetheless, Gilbert thinks he has said everything he needs to say on his next album Just As I Am, which will be released in early 2014.
"I sing about the things that I don't have conversations about," he told CMT.
"That's me giving as much as I can," he said. "The love songs are still on there. I didn't change anything. It's kinda like how tattoos are chapters of your life. And all my records are chapters of my life. They all tell stories, and obviously she's a big part of the story. 'I'm Gone' is kind of a breakup song. But there were some goodbye situations in there and some hell-raisin' situations. There was a lot to write about."
Gilbert's new single "Bottom's Up" will hit radio next month.
