The Canadian dollar gained ground against its European and U.S. counterparts in New York deals on Friday.
The loonie rose to a 2-day high of 1.4013 against the euro, off an early low of 1.4084.
The loonie is presently trading at 1.0315 against the greenback, up from an early 2-day low of 1.0342.
If the loonie rises further, its next possible resistance is seen around 1.025 against the greenback and 1.39 against the euro.
