Chester Bennington Rules Out Joint STP/Linkin Park Tour

Chester Bennington says that a joint tour featuring both the Stone Temple Pilots and Linkin Park, would be impossible for him to pull off.

"That's a really great-sounding idea, for everybody that is not me," Bennington told a Florida rock radio station in a recent interview.

"Actually going out and performing an hour, an hour and a half with Stone Temple Pilots and then an hour and a half to two hours with Linkin Park sounds like I would be able to do that once and then die. It would be like the life expectancy of a fly."

Bennington didn't completely rule out some sort of joint collaboration between the two groups though: "I think that there may be sometime in the future where we get up and do something together at some point for fun."

STP are currently on tour supporting their EP High Rise, which is set for release October 8.
