JetBlue Airways September Traffic Up 1.6% - Quick Facts

JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) said Thursday that its traffic in September 2013 increased 1.6 percent from September 2012, on a capacity increase of 0.6 percent.

Traffic, measured in Revenue Passenger Miles or RPMs, was 2.55 billion compared to 2.51 billion last year. Capacity, measured in Available Seat Miles or ASMs, was 3.22 billion compared to 3.20 billion last year.

As a results, load factor for September 2013 was 79.5%, up 0.9 points from 78.6% in September 2012.

JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of September increased 9% year over year.
