SkyWest Sept. Traffic Up 6.9%

SkyWest Inc. (SKYW: Quote) on Friday said combined traffic for SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines for September increased 6.9 percent while capacity rose 7.3 percent.

SkyWest said the combined airlines generated traffic of 2.58 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, up 6.9 percent from 2.41 billion RPMs last year.

Capacity increased to 3.22 billion available seat miles, or ASMs from 3.00 billion ASMs last year.

Load factor decreased to 79.9 percent from 80.2 percent last year.
