DXP Ent. Says It Completes B27 Acquisition

DXP Enterprises Inc. (DXPE) said Thursday it has completed the acquisition of B27 LLC.

B27 has about 342 employees with projected sales and adjusted EBITDA of $198 million and $35 million, respectively for fiscal year 2013.

DXP's President and CEO, David Little said, " We look forward to our collective success and driving towards creating a world-class Rotating Equipment business."

Houston, Texas-based DXP Enterprises engages in distributing maintenance, repair, and operating products, equipment, and services to industrial customers.

Subsequent to the bankruptcy filing of German no frills airline Air Berlin (AIBEF.PK), Lufthansa airline is strongly pursuing to acquire Air Berlin. Meanwhile, Ryanair, its Irish rival, accused conspiracy in the deal and said that the acquisition move will breach the existing competition rules in Germany in general and EU in particular. The Royal Bank of Scotland plans to cut 880 jobs from its IT department in London by 2020, a UK labor union reported. Net earnings in the quarter declined, while earnings from continuing operations increased with higher sales. Adjusted earnings per share as well as top line beat analysts' estimates. In pre-market, Target shares were up 6.4 percent.
