New car registrations in Italy rose in December from a year ago, figures from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport showed.
Car registrations rose 1.40 percent year-on-year in December, after a 4.17 percent slump in the previous month. The number of cars sold in December was 87,480 compared to 102,594 units in November.
In the whole year 2013, new car registrations decreased 7.09 percent from 2012. The number of units sold was 1,303,534.
