Linkin Park, Alice In Chains And Green Day Offer Up Items For Charity Auction

Linkin Park, Alice In Chains and Green Day are among the rock acts to donate memorabilia to Music for Relief - a charity auction with proceeds going to the victims of typhoon Haiyan, which ripped a path through the Philippines last November.

Music for Relief is the pet project of Linkin Park, which is organizing the effort. LP has put up several items including a NYC Fashion Week Experience with Chester Bennington, the guitar played by Brad Delson in Park's "Burn It Down Video," and a Blackberry signed by all of the members of the band.

Alice in Chains has donated an original painting by guitarist Jerry Cantrell along with several guitars. Green Day has donated a custom Gibson Les Paul guitar autographed by Billie Joe Armstrong.

The auction ends at 8 p.m. EST January 23.
