AC/DC began recording with producer Brendan O'Brien in May. Stevie Young. Malcolm Young will not feature on the album because of an undisclosed illness.

"One of our boys was pretty ill. We didn't like to say anything, and we're very private about things like this, so we didn't wanna say anything," said Johnson of Malcolm earlier this year after rumors of the latter's ill health began to spread.
