Capgemini, Fortinet Sign Global Frame And Alliance Partner Agreement

Capgemini (CGEMY.PK,CAPP), a provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, reported a global alliance partner relationship with Fortinet (FTNT), a provider of high performance cybersecurity solutions.

Through this relationship, Capgemini will further reinforce its cybersecurity services portfolio. It will leverage Fortinet's products to help reduce customer cybersecurity costs as well as increase the resilience of clients' infrastructure and applications.

Together, Capgemini and Fortinet will provide new packaged cybersecurity services like web application security, security for new generation datacenters SDDC and Security Operation Centers specialized in Advanced Data Analysis.

The agreement also covers human expertise with the training of 300 Capgemini engineers globally to Fortinet's eight-level certification program.

A $716 billion defense policy bill easily cleared the Senate on Monday, although the legislation must still be reconciled with the version previously approved by the House. The Senate voted 85 to 10 in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act, which authorizes U.S. military spending for fiscal 2019. Voip-Pal.com Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Amazon Inc., accusing Alexa's calling and messaging services of infringing its patents.
