Ionis Pharmaceuticals Posting Steep Loss In Afternoon Trading

After gapping open sharply lower, shares of Ionis Pharmaceuticals (IONS) continue to see significant weakness in afternoon trading on Monday. Ionis is currently down by 10 percent.

The steep drop by Ionis comes after the company reported positive results from a trial of its treatment for familial amyloid polyneuropathy but traders expressed concerns about side effects.
