Alibaba Holding On To Strong Gain In Afternoon Trading

After gapping open sharply higher, shares of Alibaba (BABA) continue to see significant strength in afternoon trading on Thursday. Alibaba is currently up by 3.8 percent after reaching a record intraday high.

The jump by Alibaba comes after the Chinese e-commerce company reported fiscal first quarter results that beat estimates on both the top and bottom lines.
