MEXICO: Producer Price Index Rises To 5.64% In August On Annual Basis

(Agencia CMA Latam) - Mexico's Producer Price Index (PPI), which excludes oil prices, posted a 5.64% annual increase in August, slowing down from the 5.92% yearly rate recorded in July, the country's statistics office said on Friday.

On a monthly basis, Mexico's PPI rose 0.06% in August, also slowing down from 0.25% in July.

The monthly increase was a result of a 1.35% fall in the prices of Primary Activities (-1.35%), while industry rose 0.12% and services grew 0.15%.
