A national survey conducted in July-August shows that Donald Trump is rated as one of the worst Presidents of the United States.

Politico Magazine's fourth annual POLITICO 50 survey asked respondents what they think of President Trump, the Democrats and the big ideas shaping America's political future.

77 percent of those surveyed said among the list of 45 US presidents, they would rank Trump in a position of "Bottom 10."

While six percent would rank him at the "Middle of the pack," just 16 percent rate him as one among the "Top 10".

According to a majority, Trump is not an effective President. 61 percent believe he is less effective as President. Only a meager six percent said Trump has been more effective. And for 32 percent, Trump is a president about as effective as they expected.

People were asked what is Trump's greatest strength as president. His ability to communicate with his supporters and the ability to change position as new information becomes available were cited as his strength.

Narcissism, arrogance, and disrespect for norms are some of the greatest weaknesses they find in him.

Getting Justice Neil Gorsuch on to the Supreme Court is regarded as Trump's biggest achievement in office so far.

45 percent of those who were surveyed believe Trump probably colluded knowingly with Russia during the election campaign.

A large section (61 percent) think Trump is hurting the Republican Party's agenda.

They give only a half chance for Democrats to take control of the Senate and the House in 2018.

The one issue that should really keep Trump awake at night is North Korea, according to 21 percent.

While 40 percent of the respondents think tax reform is most likely to happen under the Trump administration by 2018, 23 percent think the US-Mexico border wall will break ground.
