Nikkei: Bain Capital To Buy Asatsu DK

As per a report published in Nikkei, Bain Capital will acquire Asatsu DK, an advertising agency in Japan. The investment firm will launch a takeover bid for Asatsu DK to take the company private. The deal could be valued around $1.3 billion.

Bain Capital is one of the world's leading multi-asset alternative investment firms with over $75 billion in assets under management. Last week, a Bain Capital-led consortium signed a definitive agreement with Toshiba Corp. for the purchase of Toshiba Memory Corporation.
