Eddie Montgomery Announces Return To The Stage

Eddie Montgomery has announced a return to the stage following the shocking death of his partner Troy Gentry. The latter passed away earlier this year in a sudden helicopter accident but Montgomery says that moving forward with the music is the right thing to do.

He'll hit the stage for the first time since Gentry's death at this year's annual Tootsie's 2017 Birthday Bash. The event celebrates the opening of the legendary Nashville bar on Lower Broadway and news of his appearance came via the venue:

"We are honored to have our dear friend, Eddie, return to the Birthday Bash this year," a Facebook post announces. "Of course, Troy was expected to be here too. Join us all as we remember our friend, T-Roy."

Tootsie's 2017 Birthday Bash is set for October 17. This year it will also include Cole Swindell, Terri Clark, Trick Pony, Billy Ray Cyrus and more. Gates open at 11AM for the event.
