EasyJet Sept. Passengers Up 11.0% YoY - Quick Facts

easyJet Plc (ESYJY.PK,EZJ.L) reported that its passengers, or the number of earned seats flown, were 7,718,714 for the month of September, an increase of 11.0% from last year. Load Factor was 93.6% compared to 91.1%.

For the rolling 12 months ending September 2017, passengers were 80,249,672, up 9.7% from a year ago. Load Factor was 92.6% compared to 91.6%.

Philips Electronics NV reported Monday a sharp drop in second-quarter profit on loss from discontinued operations. On a continuing operations basis, profit climbed with higher margin, even as sales were nearly flat. Comparable sales and orders increased driven by growth and productivity programs. The company reiterated 2017-2020 view of 4-6 percent comparable sales growth.
